As you can tell by my avatar, I like to juggle :juggle I just recently joined a local juggling club-

http://upforgrabsjuggling.com/Classinfo.htm

We meet from 7-9pm at the Prisco Community Center in Aurora on Monday nights. If any one would like to join me, your more than welcome. I also recently started riding the unicycle :unicycle , here's a couple of cool links, if you're interested-

I also used to fly RC planes, but that was until Mike and Ken introduced me to the Darkside :revspin:

And just recently, I seemed to have somehow taken up sewing :eek I never thought I'd say that. But it's pretty cool.

that video of the unicycle was amazing. I didn't know you could do that with a unicycle.

Yeah, neither did I, until I started riding one :-) It kind of parallels what most people think of kites, eh?

Unicycle-Kiting? The parallel escapes me, but I've got this picture in my mind... :revspin: :rotfl

I've tried it, and it's not as easy as it looks!

To clarify my last, I've tried UNICYCLING, and it's not as easy as it looks. My last post implied that I've tried unicycle-kiting! I may be crazy, but come on now...

If you think unicycle-kiting would be hard, try unicycle dancing

Wow! That's incredible.

In Chicago, I had a guy try to fly my rev while on a Segway. He couldn't do it, you need a spare hand to operate the Segway. So I guess I'll never get a Segway. :-D
Either that or I have to learn to fly like Ken (one-handed).

Segway kiting I immagine would require some ammount of Duct Tape! There's your spare hand...

That's absolutely amazing! There really should be more people in the audience on that video, that girl needs more appreciation, cause she has *skills*.

My sister-in-law has a Segway. I'll have to try it with a SLK

I also ride unicycle. I used to have a six foot tall one that was fun. At the Daytion convention, I borrowed one from a fellow and rode it. It had a 36 inch wheel and really moved. ( most have either a 20 inch or 24 inch wheel.)

I have a 20" Sun, I was thinking about getting a 36", but I might have to opt for another kite :-D

The 36" was cool but a whole different feel. It had a lot of mass and you couldn't just pop up on it like a 20" or 24" It took a bit to get it moving and also a bit to slow it back down again :-D

Well, how do you like that? ...my brother is a professional juggler. Or at this point I suppose, a comedian that juggles. He started as a juggler, winning 3rd place as a junior juggler in the IJA nationals in...1986 or 87. His partner took first, but I can't remember how they finished as a team.

His club act includes juggling, knife throwing, catching potatoes on a mouth-fork while on a unicycle, and kicking a flaming bowling ball with a knife sticking out of one of the holes from his foot up in the air and catching it on his head...with a live scorpion in his pants...If that sounds familiar, he was a semi-finalist this summer on the variety game show, America's Got Talent....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1MZHF5_gSI

He's also made many appearances on the WGN Morning News over the last few years.
