*Backgammon Better Than Sudoku*

Postby Hector Herrera » Tue, May 29 2007, 10:15 PM

Hey guys!
does anyone knows the rules of this Sudoku game? :?:
It doesn't have any explanations or how to play it, with the exception of placing numbers on the board...
But, what is the purpose of it ? Just placing number randomly makes almost no sense, and makes the game itself not worthy.
Better place a chess game, dominoes, or backgammon and then the whole forum will light up... :LogoRevAni:

I've learned to play backgammon after downloading this game. It would be much better than Sudoku

Serious Backgammon.

You have to fill in all the square with the numbers 1-9 according to these rules...
(You can use this example diagram for reference:)
Image

1. The same number may not appear twice in any horizontal row.
2. The same number may not appear twice in any vertical column.
3. The same number may not appear twice in any of the 9-square blocks that are marked with slightly thicker lines.

Hope that helps.
Keep calm, and park it in the pocket

The thicker lines are the ones that divide the grid into nine groups of nine squares...like this.

So then, no repeating a number in any row, column, or in any of those blocks of nine squares.

You can't really compare this to backgammon, it's not a game you play against an opponent. You just solve it like you would a crossword puzzle.
