I'm on, going to register now. Just sounded to good for $125 including food and lodging, wanted to double check. Have a new sewing machine, nothing like his Viking. If I can't get a kite up, maybe, just maybe I can make one!

Same as last year, I will be coming to dinner by special dispensation.

I'll have IKE patches with me at MAKR for everyone who's interested in them.

I'd even sew on a couple for those who get special dispensation, and haven't fallen asleep in their easy chairs.

After an initial flurry, the mailbox is not filling quite as quickly. Several of you who have said you are coming, still haven't gotten that envelope in the mail. None of the classes, well except for the boomerangs, are totally full yet, but several are close to filling a particular session. If there is a project you really want, tell me that so you can be switched to the alternate time.
Does anyone go home thru Rockford? We will probably need help transporting instructors back to the Van Galder bus station on sunday night.
Raffle donations needed!
Thanks
Barbara

I have to work, so can't be there. Is it possible to just come to a couple classes and pay for the classes? The boomerang class is filled? :(

Note, 2 items covered in this post.
First: Only 4 weeks to go. Registration is still open. Some classes are full, but no instructor has every seat filled. You know a fabulous time will be had. And, the very best place to connect with kiters from around the US. We even have folks driving up from Texas to join us! Find complete info at www.makr.info or, email me directly.
Second: Anyone live near Rockford? 2 instructors will be arriving via shuttle bus at the Clock Tower Inn somewhere between 3 and 4 and need a very short ride over to the Baymont Inn.
And, anyone live in Chicago? Or, willing to drive there Sunday night? We have 6 guests that are staying over an extra day or two to enjoy the city and would like to settle into a Chicago hotel Sunday night. Even if you could take 1 or 2 it would help.
Thanks much, and hoping to hear from you

Help needed!!! Most of you will be traveling home either thru or around Rockford. Who has space to take 1 or 2 passengers back to the motel on sunday night?
No one responded to my previous post, so I'm trying again.

If worse comes to worse, they can take the bus back to O'hare them take the subway to Chicago. I wonder if Greyhound has buses?

With my work schedule, I don't think I can make it up there at all.

Thanks for the info, Mike. I'll broadcast the request to everyone that has registered. They need to get to Rockford from Oregon to catch the bus into Chicago.
3 weeks to go!!
