Spring 2007 AKA Kiting Magazine

Postby Mike » Wed, Mar 07 2007, 02:25 PM

On page 4 of the newest issue of Kiting is a picture of club member Al Sparling.
Al, along with Susan Skinner, won Outstanding Kite Festival of the Year for coordinating the AKA Convention Mass Ascensions. The award is from KTAI (Kite Trade Association International).
A big congrats Al!

Also of interest:

On pages 26 and 27 is an article on the kites of Guatemala.
Do you get this magazine Hector (our own Guatemalan kite flier)?

And finally, on page 50, is a photo of club member Jim Foster flying with other rev experts Mark Lummas (Team Too Much Fun), Joe Hadzicki (designer of the revolution), and Ben Dantonio (also from Revolution). Pretty darn cool!
