It sure is a PAIN trying to line up two, three or four layers of ripstop nylon and have static between them!!!
What do some of you other sewers do to help stop it from happening?

I use spray anti-static product. Ummm, Static Guard, maybe? I don't have the can in front of me.
Some people like the static when it makes the ripstop cling to the work surface.
Me, I hate it when I try to throw a scrap into the scrap bin. It clings to my hand acting somewhat like a yo-yo. When it does come off my hand it will jump back out of the scrap bin.

Sounds like a plan, will give it a try. I prefer to tape my RSN down to the table too.

Anti-static dryer sheets work to an extent too. Not as well as the spray though. Rubbing them used or new on the fabric or table helps some.
