Introducing new people to the sport

Postby Babbman » Sat, Nov 18 2006, 11:19 PM

My brother and his family are coming up from Florida tomorrow. Looks like we will have decent winds and tolerable temperatures so I plan on taking my nephews, brother and brother-in-law out tomorrow to show them that this is not just standing in a field and holding a string...

Wish me luck in turning them on to 21st century kiting!

It's SKILL that'll impress, not luck, but GOOD LUCK with that anyway. :D

I flew with my brother this past spring, had him learning on a really old Go Fly delta pro, he's hooked! (He's still $aving up...???)

you've got a good selection of kites: dual, power and quad. Something will click with them. Enjoy.
