Need For Indoor Flyer ...

Postby Jeepster » Sun, Nov 09 2008, 05:51 PM

I was approached today by one of the programming folks for the Riverside Community Church in Peoria. The church is putting on a production the weekend of December 13th and needs someone who can fly an indoor kite. They looked in the area last year and couldn't find anyone who could fly indoors, so cut that part out of the play/production. I wonder if she approached IKE last year. When the individual saw me flying alongside Route 116 she thought her prayers had been answered ... little did she know that I'm more of a high wind flyer.

She told me that a church in Chicago put on this play and flew a husband and wife team in from California.

So, if you have any desire to fly an all white indoor kite in a large production send me a PM and I'll put you in touch with the individual.

Cheers,
Tom

Does the church own the kite?
What sort of kite is it?
Tom, I bet it's a single like kite and that you could do it with only a small amount of practice.

Mike,

The gal from Riverside Community Church just sent me this link as representing what they are looking for:

It'll take me more than a little practice to fly a quad indoors. The church doesn't own the kite yet ... if they found someone to do the flying, they would then purchase it.

Does anybody recognize the flyers?

Cheers,
Tom

It looks like Lee and Debbie Park flying white Deccas.
Hey Rizzuto, I bet you could do this.

Sure I could. Good luck getting your hands on a Great Deca...
It's a great satisfaction knowing that for a brief point in time you made a difference.

A big white indoor rev would probably do ok too.
