Yüksek tansiyonunuz vardır. Yüksek tansiyon kalbinizde değişikliklere yol açmıştır.

Kalp, atardamarlar aracılığıyla vücudun tüm bölgelerine kan pompalar. Tüm organların yeterince kanla beslenmesi için atardamarlardaki basınç yeterince yüksek almalıdır. Aksi halde kalbe, böbreklere veya başka organlara zarar verebilecek çok yüksek bir kan basıncı oluştur. Kan basıncı eforla birlikte doğal olarak yükselir. Kan basıncı geceleri normalde düşer.

Tansiyon ölçümünün sonucu her zaman iki sayıdan oluşur. İlk sayı atardamardaki en yüksek basınçtır. Kalp kanı dışarı pompaladığında oluşur. İkinci sayı atardamarlardaki en düşük basınçtır. Kalp yeniden kanla dolduğunda oluşur. Normal tansiyon yaklaşık 'ye 80'dir. Yaşa veya önceki hastalıklara bağlı olarak normal tansiyon biraz daha yüksek veya düşük de olabilir.

Yüksek tansiyonda atardamarlardaki kan basıncı uzun bir süre çok yüksektir. Yüksek tansiyonun her zaman net bir nedeni yoktur. Bu nedenle yüksek tansiyonun gelişiminde çeşitli faktörlerin etkili olduğu varsayılmaktadır. Bunlar örneğin obezite, stres, ileri yaş ve sigara kullanımı olabilir.

Yüksek tansiyon başlangıçta genellikle bir şikayete yol açmaz veya ancak hafif düzeyde hissedilen şikayetlere yol açar. Kan basıncı sürekli olarak yüksek seyrettiğinde, zamanla kan damarlarında veya organlarda hasar oluşabilir. Yüksek tansiyon nedeniyle kalbinizde zamanla değişiklik meydana gelmiştir. Yüksek tansiyon örneğin kalp kasının kalınlaşmasına veya kalbin küçük kan damarlarının hasar görmesine neden olabilir. Bu durumda kalp gerektiği gibi kan pompalayamaz. Bu duruma kalp yetmezliği adı verilir.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW
