LOL, I'll live with the drive. :) it's all private beach South of the channel, which wouldn't have been a problem 15 years ago, but after all the law suits from the new subdivision who were sold something they shouldn't have been (long story) it's been a bit challenging. Best times for our beach is before Memorial Day and after labor day. Too many idiots during the summer. I'll see how the beach has changed over she winter and let you know. Could be fun :)

I've never gone to Laketown Park, but I'll have to investigate that. "Our" beach is right here http://goo.gl/maps/ga5x4 it looks deceptively large on satellite view. one of the other challenges with that location is the start of the dune grass is about a 6 foot hill which can do interesting things with the wind.

I swear to God I thought Swannie was talking about Holland. You know tulips and wooden shoes? Since he's been in Europe for work so much I thought his family immigrated.

It's been a long week.

Oh, believe me, the Holland I'm talking about has tulips, wooden shoes, windmills, and lots of last names that start with "Van" ... :-)
