You haven't heard about the "Kite Flier Exchange Program?" It's modeled after the student exchange ... oh, never mind ...

If you are going to Grand Haven Look for me. I will be in a red IKE shirt with a rev in my hands. I unfortunately cannot make it up to Chicago this week. Do hope to meet you at some point while you are here. -Mikey

Yep . . . I'm in London. Had a business trip to Copenhagen and London, and brought a couple revs with me. By "flew with some of the Decorators" I mean . . . . Mike, you've seen my flying at a couple club flys. So, it was me following them around figure eights while trying not to crash into them. But it was very nice all the same. I got to try some formations with them that I haven't done before, and it was great to team fly. Felix, Ashley, Maggie and Jade had some pointers for me (some of which I may actually remember).

Sadly Wednesday turned into a bit of a washout - not much wind at all then a colossal thunderstorm :( But in the end we managed to stop by Northerly park very briefly on our way out of town on Thursday morning and thanks to Mikes great parking tip managed to get out & up & grab some shots just to say we did!

We then headed on to Indiana Dunes and managed to get a quick fly in there too, although the wind was still very light and it was hot & humid (us brits not used to this!)

Hoping for some better conditions for the festival next weekend!

Managed to get a few more sessions in - thanks for all the sleeping bear tips! But what's whith these flies? Urgh!!

We're now in Mackinaw City but can't get near the beach for bugs... Hoping they stay up here and don't follow us down to Grand Haven tomorrow!

Looking forward to the festival :) Look for a t-shirt with an ant on !

I don't think it's you . . . . I think the forum might be having issues with images because I'm also not seeing images posted by other users. Have fun at Grand Haven . . . I won't be there :( due to many kid activities this weekend plus a 5K.
