Indiana Trick Clinic

Postby Knoted4ever » Sun, Sep 02 2007, 08:54 PM

The Trick Clinic was a lot of great fun! :mrblue: This field is unbeatable... with 1,100 acres of mowed grass... and one tree! It was so nice to see the regulars once again, plus some new people that i never met before!

Mark, once again, did a fantastic job with teaching basic trick essentials. Dick, Castor, and Jason were great hosts! It was a lot of great flying fun for a lot of us. Donna, Chris, and i flew at night with dualie kites with lights attached to them. It was a lot of fun... and with RC planes lit up as well it looked like space invaders in the sweet night atmosphere! :!:

i especially liked the camp fire that Castor set up! It was a lot of fun sitting around the fire and chatting while relaxing to the mesmerizing flames! That was very relaxing and cool!

Unfortunately, there were no goose treasures there at all... so we were unable to perform the new and phenomenal "Tossing the Goose Treasures" trick!

People were occasionally flying quad kites as well! There were also a number of single line kites; i especially liked Chris's (from Ohio) Double Star kite! He made it himself... and it was too sweet!

There was a very good turnout with a lot of super-nice people at this great clinic/get-together! i'm glad that, this time, not as many magicians showed up to learn tricks.

That begs the philosophical question of whether Tom can be taught new tricks.

:mrblue: You can teach an old dog new tricks! :mrblue:

RRRRRRRRRRooooooofffffffffff!

i wasn't young four years ago when i starting this aerial stuff! ...though i never plan on truly growing old! i'll just stay young till i die (and each moment is a dying and renewing anyway)! :mrviolet:

i was very stunned  when one of the hosts of the clinic (a superb and inspirational flier for sure) stated that, two or three years ago or so, i sucked at tricking... and that now he thinks i'm the best tricker at the clinic. Gives hope for us all, i'd say!
