Mots Festival Sept 8-9
Re: Mots Festival Sept 8-9
That looked better than I thought at the time. The wind had really picked up and we hadn't switched to vented kites yet.
So, can any of you tell that we are making a smiley face at :22 into the movie? And then it frowns?
I'm the eye on the left side of the screen, and Zach is the yellow kite on right side of the smile.

Better late than never...
I just found this article in Kitelife:
http://kitelife.com/archives/issue56/mots07/index.htm
It has kudos to Zach and Ann and mentions our nice red shirts.

Re: Mots Festival Sept 8-9
I talked to Scott a few weeks ago and he said that iQuad will be back for next year.
Also he will be setting up a separate practice field away from the demo and big kite areas.

Re: Mots Festival Sept 8-9
Scott and I have exchanged a few emails and maps of the field.
He understands that IKE needs an area to play
Also, as far as I know, iQuad hasn't confirmed that they'll be there yet. They've got several international invites they are working with.
If iQuad can't make it, 180 GO! will fill that space!

That was a really great article; I thanked David Hathaway in person when we were out at Nationals. The positive publicity was just great!
