My first concert, 1977, I was barely 15... At The Aragon Ballroom in Chicago.

Quite obviously, I LOVE Rush

The concert was great, Babb! They played for two long separate sessions... then came out for a final encore! Lots and lots of lasers, fireworks, dragons with real flames, light shows, animations, etc. It was a lot of great fun! They sure can perform! :mrblue:

Looks like you folks had a great time at Mots!

Hey, I must have miscounted while we were out there, because looking at some of the pictures, there were 15 kites in the Sunday mega-fly!

Sorry Eric, didn't see you down there. I probably could have guessed though.
That was fun, we should do it more often. Even if John Barresi isn't there, we can still do a mega fly.

Yes, that is the big kite field at the New York Kite Festival.

Jerry McGuire, Dennis Hawley and Kelly Mayhew, Pete Dolphin, Mike Petty and Don Pignolet, Cliff Quinn and myself filled up the field.

Wow. I looked at all of them!
Some nice photos of the mega fly with the octopus and big kites in the background.
Thanks for posting, it must have taken a while to upload all of those.

I received this today from Scott... he said we could post it on our site..

Great work everyone!

---------------------------
Hello everyone,

WOW, what can I say? Last weekend was just unbelievable!! Thank you to everyone for making this the most successful event that we have ever held. We even beat the odds of a Packer game on Sunday. We had a larger crowd on Sunday than Saturday. That, all by itself, is monumental in Wisconsin.

I sure do appreciate all of your efforts, and all of your comments. We made some changes on Sunday as a result of comments from Saturday, and the changes made Sunday flow a lot smoother. On top of everything working well, and having great weather, I think we all had a lot of FUN! You will also note that there was not an ambulance in sight, and no lightning.

A special thanks to iQuad for attending our event. I have extended an invitation to iQuad to attend next year’s Mots. Also, a very special thank you to Ann, for keeping all of us moving in the right direction. Isn’t she great!! I also want to recognize Yves for putting more kites in the sky than ever before on Sunday. What a show!

Thanks again and below is next years “Tour de Kitesâ€
