Does a glass encrusted line cut through kevlar?

Manja probably would win, so I guess I would need to make kevlar manja to keep the advantage,

I talked to a kid about Rok battles once. When I got out the kites for the battles, he was looking for the place to attach the power saws and other similar tools of destruction. He was disappointed until he got to fly the kite and run around.

Who's up for a demo at the festival? We have 2 fields for stunt kites. One for playing in and working with the public, and one for demo's with sound.

I've already gotten offers to do demo's from some, THANK YOU! Anyone else interested?

pm's welcome

I'd like to do a dual line demo.

How do you need the music. I-Pod or burned onto a CD?

Hey Isaac,

That is cool. We will need a CD to play the music.

Thanks,
JJ

What exactly is the music system? Lots of players have stereo or line inputs that you could simply plug an mp3 player into.

Please let us know Draftnik, that way I will know weather to burn the cd or just bring my Ipod with input cords.

Dekalb is history and I have to say that it was a genuine blast...

Great festival, great people, great fun...

More when I recover.

Thanks Chris & JJ for putting together such a great festival...

Just got home and yeah, it was a ton of fun today. Thanks to Nathan for coming up with the idea and to the rest of the family for getting this thing off the ground. It just gets better every year.

Sigh. I hate that this was our last big festival together for the season.

Here is Chris holding what I thought was a "small bol", until the wind inflated it  (I didn't know it was a crown!!)

It's a great satisfaction knowing that for a brief point in time you made a difference.
