Snagged from the kite builder forums:

If you look at another great kite magazine, Vlieger, from the Netherlands, they have a list of plans that appeared in their magazines dating back to 1982
The link below takes you to a treasure trove of kite plans unknown to most here at the forum. Mostly in Dutch of course but if anybody would like some help with translations you know how to find me. I think the idea is what we are talking about.

We have our own translator in the club, he doesn't post often, but Vlieger does check in pretty regularly.

If you read this post, Vlieger, is there a plan on that list that you like?

Babbman, check out this rotor. Only 100 pieces to cut out and sew. That's nothing after all the catherine wheels you have done!

How about this kite. Is it a mushroom?

I already started cutting pieces for this one 2 weeks ago... I'll have to hot cut everything though as there are really no straight lines on it...

lol...

I'm a glutton for punishment
