Flying In Kolob Canyon

Lynn and I just returned from an Airstream rally in Hurricane, southern Utah. While visiting Zion National Park, we took a side trip to Kolob Canyon. There was a nice, wide parking area where I was able to launch and fly for a while.

Man, those are stunning photos. Beautiful scenery.

It looks just like Illinois! Really! You should come visit!

Come on...I've been to Illinois. Those photos don't look anything like Illinois. :rotfl Indiana maybe, but not Illinois.

Don't listen, no where in IL or IN does it look like that, we are in the plains. Flat plains where the corn grows.

Yes, the Utah canyon country is really breath-taking. If you ever get a chance to visit Arches, Canyonlands, Zion and Bryce National Parks, as Lynn and I just did, do it. They are all diferent from one another. It is time very well spent.
