Awesome!!!!
Fantastic scenery, Hector. It doesn't even need a rev to make it pretty. But cool that you could fly by that lake.
I just flew on American Airlines and there was an article on your country in the airline magazine. It's a beautiful place.

It is nice to be back, we had fun, fun, fun,...my wife and daughters enjoyed everything. I took them to places they had not been before, places where my father and my mother took us when I was a boy, and I could tell they were happy and amased by the way they were looking at everything around them. I have so many pictures to share and little time, but I will share them with you. For now I have a couple of pics. at the beach in Guatemala, it was not warm...it was HOT.
For the trip to the beach last Saturday, I rented a BUS..., to bring 29 relatives. We had a lots of fun.

Nice water flying!
And how cool to rent a bus and bring all that family to the beach. It's also neat that you have the family.
Thanks for sharing the photos.

Beautiful photos. A bus for the relatives? wow...I think I could fit all my relatives in a small van. But I would LOVE a big family. :-D

How often do you get to visit?

My wife and daughters came to the USA only four years ago for the first time, (or is it five) and 2 years ago we went back to visit, with this year visit, it is the second time for us to go there, but;...with today's economy, inflation, gas prices, and so on, I dont' think we'll go back there any time soon. I'd like to share this pics. with you all.

This "car" it is called "TUC-TUC" in Guatemala, (pronounced took-took as in English) you can find them in just about all towns, they are very economical, gas saver, for short rides, it gets you everywhere, in small tight spaces.
I think they are very usefull for the people, specially tourists, who want to get from one location to another, fast.

Very cool Hector. Love the photos.

I would love to see you flying a kite standing on top of a pyramid. Too bad they don't allow that.

Jajajaja...I bet you have never seen anything like this. What is good about it is that the women do their laundry work and gossip at the same time, it is a real ancient way to do it, but I guess they like it like that. One thing is for sure, there is no water shortage, and I am sure they will allway have the lake. There is one important thing to mention...In this towns there are: NO GANGS, NO GRAFITTY, NO THIEVES...people gets toghether, and teaches the young ones to respect others, the whole town protects families as one big family. It seems as civilisation, can learn a thing or two from this people. They work the land, and take care of the tourists for an extra income. Most Mayans now days, are not poor, and have a decent living, owning their own land and homes. In Guatemala YOU OWN THE LAND you buy. You can build the way you want, it could be a shack, or a 2, 3 story building. But like any other country, there is poverty too, and that's unavoidable...everywhere.-

Editing: I will send pictures of another Public laundry.
