Hiya Hector,
I like your new kite. Sewing all those little cubes must have been a lot of work!
You toss and catches were good, especially the ones where you didn't have to take a step to catch them. Since you can do that, now try turning around as the kite comes down and catching it behind your back! And then work up to longer and longer lines so that you can do it with standard length lines.

I can't do either of those things, but I met a guy at Seal Beach who could catch behind his back consistently with 75' lines.

Thank you guys... :-) Lots of sewing alright. Each cube is made of 3 diamond shaped parts and I didn't count on the EXTRA material for sewing... but it came out okay. It's just another kite.
As stated I am gonna try this one on those days with no winds, we'll see what happens then. I'll let you know.

Hey Babbman, I found out what qbert is.... :rotfl it's very impresive that so many years ago someone came with that game, and I have never played it. The cubes are exactly the same way I made my kite. it was a real surprise to me. I guess I can add the caracters to my kite... :rotfl
There is a red caracter that looks like one kite one of you guy made, is it from this game?
By the way can anyone send me a copy of the game, I think it was done in DOS version and is not compatible with my laptop windows XP. Anyone.

There's an online version of the game that is exactly like the original arcade game. Well, the only difference is that the original game used a joystick to make Q-Bert jump.
