Nice flying guys!
It's neat to be able to film and track your movements with the camera while flying, even if the video quality isn't the best.

Agreed - nice flying.
And, after trying to capture video for Ben's video contest over on revkites, I like the ease with which you can follow the kites. It's looks pretty steady - or at least I wasn't distracted by motion (maybe because it's point-of-view). Plus it's a great way for you to be able to review your routines.

I think that "point of view" is the key here, and yes, being able to review is what I was after. We have a friend who races radio control boats. He is getting an i-Kam. He has the same problem of having both hands busy, and not able to review what happened. His boats pass where he is standing at 50-75 feet away, and 120 miles per hour. Should be interesting video.

Yeah, that would be handy to film 180GO! practice sessions. I'd have to give the glasses to someone who doesn't need a prescription though. :)

Mike
They have prescription lenses available. I don't know the cost as I have never looked into that. They come with one set of clear and one set of dark polarized.

Well, we have been playing with i-Kam Xsteme for a couple of weeks now. So far, It works out just fine. I have posted several videos on YouTube under our account, "thekitekids". If anyone is thinking about getting this device, I would highly recommend it. Not loads of money, but can be loads of fun.
I will say that i always let folks within camera range know when I am about to turn this thing on. I feel that it is only common courtesy to let folks know that a video camera is going, as there is no way for them to tell that is is going.
The dark lenses are polarized, and very nice for flying on the beach, or anywhere else for that mater.
Cheers, Jim
