New (?) vented Rev

Postby Chris » Thu, May 17 2007, 09:26 PM

Well, I got bored the other night, and decided I needed to vent my 1.5 SLE. It was really weird cutting holes in a perfectly good sail.

I used the B series venting pattern, because I like the feel, and looks over the standard venting. Though between the mylar, and the screening, this turned out to be a rather heavy kite. But should do well in the really high winds.

It's a great satisfaction knowing that for a brief point in time you made a difference.

Chris

Your vented Rev looks great.

Don't feel bad about cutting up a perfectly good kite. When Lynn wanted to make a patriotic Rev like mine, we bought a new one and took it apart before it was ever flown.
