Here's the maiden flight of the Mylar UFO, this is a cool kite to watch fly. I actually held this kite, and just stood there watching it for abot 20 minutes.I got the plans from Anthony's kite works. http://www.cit.gu.edu.au/~anthony/kites/

That's so cool! In mylar it really looks like one of those home movies of a UFO sighting.

Ok, I'm confused... WHERE's the TREE??? :blink1:

It's nice to see that thing in action after talking about it. How was the wind? Sounds blustery... Looks like that kite might take a little beating though.

It was very sporadic (as usual) gusting to 15 maybe. I don't' think the Mylar will last forever though. When it wears out, I'll just cover it in ripstop :wink:
