We'll be there. Or JJ will, if I perish from anticipation before. It could happen! :bash:

I'm submerging in a weekend of painting kites and building aeolians. Hopefully a very Zen and much needed escape. In spite of what SOME would say, it's not a cop out, not to have a sewing machine to haul around. It's therapy. You stinky boys just go ahead and knock yourselves out getting as many stitches as you can into one weekend. I'M going home rested and relaxed and FINISHED. 8)

Glad to hear you both are going to be there!! Should be a blast.

I am also taking the aeolian class, besides the fandango on saturday night for that fix of stitching ALL NIGHT! Skyak, Star constellation and Boomerang round out the rest of the weekend.

Only a week to go. :piratecap: :pirate:

hey there Drafty :D

Hope you have a very relaxing & fun weekend at MAKR (wish I was able to join ya's!).

Doing the aeolian thing 'eh? EXCELLENT....those things are really neat. Looking forward to throwing together a joint wind garden with both you & Paul Fieber at your Dekalb event this fall. When's that gonna be by the wayyyy? Or are 'the powers that be' still working on a date?

PS: you missed a GREAT time at Color the Wind (Larry Day's big event). Near perfect weather alll day long. Thought fer sure you'd show, but.... We missed you!!! Oh yeah, I manged NOT to rip a 3ft gash in the side of my Sutton this time around, LOL. No more major kite repairs for ya to fret over...at least for a while :mrorange:

Jeff, the banners look great in the snow.
I still like flying on sand better, but it makes for a beautiful photo!

Hi Jeff!

I've been thinking 'bout you, wondering if you got a wild hair this year and decided to come to MAKR. It's not too late. You still could ya know!

These aeolians are table top models. Diff then what Paul did, but enough of an experience in making them that there maybe more to come.

 You're killing me!! Color the Wind looks beautiful. Wish we could have been there.

Very much looking foward to catching up with everyone at MAKR and beyond.

Banshee, you'd better be there! Who would corrupt Cliff and harass Barb, if you didn't show up. :P

Frodos, do you have my cell number? Keep in touch with us Friday, we maybe on the same roads. I'm looking foward to seeing what you come up with for Saturday night! JJ has some of the those classes. Boomerangs...wonder what those would do in the sling shot?

Ken, can you get 4 patches from Draftnik for me too? I'll exchange money for them at the next team practice or fest. Thanks.

I hope you all have fun at MAKR. I won't see you at dinner this year as I will be in Thailand flying at a festival in Cha-am. It was a tough choice: dinner at MAKR or Thailand ;-)
