True that it is WAAAAAAYYYY too soon to just toss in the towel - just was hoping to see a bit more than that. 5-10mph is -_- and the sweet spot for most of what I have is right above 10, so seeing the predictions at a peak of 5 is disheartening some. Thank you for the offer! I soo can't wait to see Rev's in action other than on a screen! I can't wait (let alone believe) to possibly fly one too!! (giddy schoolgirl squeak here) *_*

Yup, like TMadz said, we'll just show you how to fly a Rev. They work in all winds :)
As far as wind forecasts, I don't trust the morning forecast on the day of the festival! Really, it is so often wrong that it's not trustworthy.

The bridle on most kites can be temporarily adjusted to help it fly in lighter winds. Most kites are manufactured having "factory settings" so they can be flown in the greatest range of wind. These presets can be "tweaked" so the kite's performance is slightly improved in existing conditions.

Sorry about getting all techy on you here. Just want you to know that where there is a will, there may be a way.

And if the full-sails are having a hard time, many of us have kites, even dual or quad, that will fly easily in 1-2 mph wind.

We even have kites that require no wind, so there's absolutely no excuse not to show up.
