As many of you may or may not know, our local Peter Lynn team rider - Brian Holgate - loves kiting and is an awesome kite buggier. The only thing that he loves more than kiting is family. And this is where he has asked the kiting community to step up and come to the need of someone very special.
Brian’s sister, Lelani Winn, has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and is now in a fight for her life. There is a cure - but it takes time and lots and lots of money, both of which she is running out of fast. Unfortunately much of the expense for treatments is not covered under her minimal insurance policy.
Being sponsored by Peter Lynn, Brian has worked closely with our shop and Marijn from VliegerOp, U.S. Distributor for Peter Lynn Products, and came up with a plan to help raise some of the much needed money for Lelani as well as get some great gear to the kiting community! With the help of Peter Lynn, A Wind Of Change and Wrknonit web design, Brian has been able to put together www.kiteforacure.com - a website dedicated to helping Lelani find a cure for her cancer.
Peter Lynn has also donated two new and awesome power kites to help with our cause.
1 - 2.2 Meter Peter Lynn Reactor MK1 Power Kite
1 - 3.0 Meter Peter Lynn Twister Power Kite
Both kites are up for auction for only $20.00.
Here’s how it works. There will be 100 tickets and 100 tickets only for each kite. Each ticket is $20.00! When all the tickets are sold, a winner will be picked. That means you will have a 1 in 100 chance of winning! These are the best odds in Vegas! You can purchase as many tickets you want - and thats right! the more tickets you buy, the better your odds of winning are!
The best thing is that thanks to Peter Lynn, 100% of all tickets sales will be paid directly to the Cancer Treatment Center to help cover some of the costs to find Lelani a cure.
Please let your friends know and purchase one of the 200 tickets available and get your chance to win! With this limited number of tickets, they will go fast!
