Istanbul Guitar Festival

IBB Cemal Reşit Rey Konser Concert Hall will host the 3rd International Guitar Festival on the 16th of November! The festival will feature 16 world-famous musicians during 6 concerts and 6 masterclasses. Marco Socias, named one of the most important guitarists of our time, will perform the closing concert on the evening of 18th of November. Music-lovers can follow flamenco guitar performances as well as classical guitar ones. 

World-famous musicians will perform at the festival!

CRR International Guitar Festival is on its way to become one of the leading guitar festivals in the world content-wise and will host famous guitar artists between 16-18 November. Marco Socias and Ignacio Rodes from Spain, Salvatore Seminera from Italy, Gabriel Gullien from Venezuela, Laurent Boutros from France and Latin music doyen Ricardo Moyano from Argentina are some of the musicians who will perform at the festival.

Beloved Turkish guitarists Melih Güzel and Hüsrev İsfendiyaroğlu will also perform during the 3rd CRR International Guitar Festival. Sinan Erşahin, who represented Turkey with the concerts he has given all around the world, and Kağan Korad, who has his signature on many important projects, will be accompanied by flutist Nihan Atalay and bandoneon player Tolga Salman during their performances throughout the festival.

Flamenco Guitar Will Also Be Featured 

3. CRR Uluslararası Gitar Festivali’nde bu yıl, klasik gitarın yanı sıra flamenko gitarı performansları da sergilenecek. Türkiye’de flamenko müziğine gönül veren gitaristler Ezgi Anıl ve flamenko gitarı eğitiminin duayeni Ilgaz Benekay seyirciyle buluşacak. Ezgi Anıl’a konserinde danslarıyla Burcu Özbalkan eşlik edecek.

2 Masterclasses and 2 Concerts During Festival Days From International Artists 

Marco Socias, Mehmet Gürgün, Ignacio Rodes, Ilgaz Benakay, Gabriel Gullien and Mehmet Gürgün will meet guitar-lovers with their expert level classes during the festival. These masterclasses will take place between 10:00-13:00 and the concerts will be at 16:00-20:00 every day.
