Re: Hello From Wheaton

Rainbow stunters like these? http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/1/7/7/1/1/9/webimg/405005920_o.jpg I had a stack of 'em. They were my first stunt kites too! It was good to meet you at DeKalb. Try to make it out the festival this weekend, it's your best bet to get some tips. I know it's a drive, but m...

Hello From Wheaton

Hello IKE! I just joined up after I saw the team at Dekalb. My 8yo son got me back into kiting after a *cough* 20+ year absence. Back in jr. high school, I bought a Rainbow two line stunt kite (anybody remember those?) and had a lot of fun with it, but somewhere along the way I forgot to "go fl...

I'm out in the Wheaton area, if anyone is nearby. I could use some pointers, and . . . I just really need a bunch more flight time ...

Quad Lines - Stretch

So . . . . I'm brand new to revs and picked up a used SLE 1.5 with a line set a few weeks back. I have flown about three times now, but still have a lot to learn (and some dual line habits to un-learn). Here's my issue/question - I took the lines off the handles to measure them, and it seems that th...
