Yep I flew there with y'all this Spring with snow on the ground. Now the Park District has expanded to an area to the east which adds to the kite flying possibilities.

I agree with Steve and Todd that the weather probably had a big influence on the lack of kite flyers. It's a nice area, though and should be a candidate for any local IKE flys.

The only ones of any importance.

It was not well attended. Chicago Kite had several larger kites aloft in the football/track area. But maybe only a dozen other kites were up at any one time.

Today I went over to the Primrose Farm field that the STC Park District official suggested as a kite flying area. In fact it seems decent. However it does have sections marked for sports. And baseball diamonds. So there might be conflicts there too. Flew for about an hour. Nary a soul around. Lookin...

Nice size increase! Should be adequate. I do like the drag and drop method of adding photos now. Much easier.
Max photos per post used to be six if I recall.

Regarding photo posting. It does appear that the max file size has increased based on my experiments. At least 500 KB as far as I can tell. At least double the previous, if I recall. That helps. Thanks for that, Mike.

Mike - Small comment - it seems like the emails I get notifying me of updates to the threads take me to the top of the thread, not the last post. I think the old forum used to put you right at the last post (or at least the one that triggered the email). Is that a setting on notifications or someth...

And you probably know it, but the IKE logo in the upper left corner has gone missing.
