So am I.

It's pretty flat as a line drawing. It looks much better in person.

I'll try and render a 3d model next time for coloring... :jester:

Re: It's my fault.

See, you two have an advantage over me: a wife that's into kites. I'm not sure that would "fly" around here. :)

They made it into the office for now. Hopefully they'll go back in the car in a week or two. :)

It's my fault.

I realized last night that I'm the reason Spring hasn't sprung - not even a little - yet. So, I cleared all the kites out of the back of my SUV in hopes that Murphy's Law would trigger warmer (or at least more seasonable) temperatures. However, this begs the question, where do you all keep your kite...

Mike - Do you know if they're going to offer these with custom designs/colors like they do the B-Pros?

Re: Help 180GO! design our team kites

I guess my boredom at work was good timing! :)

I kind of like the mini-rev in there, it's almost like an easter egg. What if the mini rev was done in a light grey or something so that it stuck out a little more (but was still kinda hidden)?

Re: New York Minute "Colorizer"

I thought I read that the maximum-vent configuration was supposed to be between a full-vent and an extra-vent on the b-series. There's a thread somewhere on the Rev forums I believe.

Re: New York Minute "Colorizer"

Has anyone seen the "max vent" (70%) on this kite? Would it be the three grey panels I have, or are there more? I'm assuming that 70% means 70% of the sail area, so there must be more...?

Re: New York Minute "Colorizer"

Updated with the seam removed. I realized the way the logo is silkscreened on there it wouldn't be an issue, so I added that as well.

New photoshop and PNG files attached - have fun avoiding work, Steve. :)

Re: New York Minute "Colorizer"

Cool - thanks! It looked like there was a seam there in the pictures, but looking now I realize it was probably a fold. Seemed like an odd place for a seam to me. :) I thought about adding the logo, but I thought it might make it difficult to colorizer with the flood fill tool. Do you know if they'r...

New York Minute "Colorizer"

Hey guys, I got bored today, so using a few pictures online as reference I created a panel layout for the NYM kites that you can then colorize in Photoshop (or whatever your preferred image editor is). I *think* I got the panel layout right, some of the seams were hard to see in the various pictures...

Being a network/security guy by trade, my son is pretty much screwed when he gets old enough to have his own computer... :) OK, looks like we need a new thread . . . . . so . . . what should we be doing to lock stuff down? Scratch that - we'll talk about it some day when we're flying together. In t...
