Re: Revolution frame opinions

Take a look at the Diamond rods as well, I think they're lighter and stronger then two-wrap. There's a couple threads in the Rev forums on them.

*Somewhere* on the Rev forums I think someone posted a table that had all the different frame weights, and of course I can't find it now. :)

Re: Polar Bear Kite Club?

I agree with TMadz... it's not the flying I'm worried about, it's making a tangled mess of my lines that I want to avoid. :)

I'm worried the vents will clog up with snow.

At least for now I can "complain" about there not being enough wind to fly a full vent. :D

New Kite

Just got my new full vent B-Pro (Thanks Big Mike) ... since I can't fly it because it's @#$%ing cold out there, I'll show it off here. 8-)

Re: Rev clinic

Wow! I think I might be too old for a Rev clinic with JB . . . . not sure I can survive 20 hours of flying per day . . . . Yeah, I'm toast after 3 or 4 hours ... but that's probably because I still need to concentrate and put a great deal of thought into getting the kite to do what I want it to do....

Thinking of flying at the middle school in Sugar Grove this afternoon ... If the field has already been over run by its secondary use as a goose toilet, I may relocate to the Sugar Grove Sports Complex ...

Re: Everyone OK?

This YouTube video was taken by one of the neighbors in my subdivision. My back yard abuts up against the trees you see in the video at the end of the street. Unlike my neighbor, I watched it go by from the safety of my basement. Cheers, Tom HOLY COW, that's an incredible video! Thanks for sharing....

Re: November club fly (or two)?

Considering the Storm Prediction Center just issued a PDS and Tornado Watch until 4:00pm today, I'm going to go out on a limb and say no one is flying today ... http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/watch/ww0561.html
