Re: I KNOW--the forum has changed!

Ah, yes., and there is also an "Unread Posts" link there. Thank you. Yeah, it's hidden in a menu that developers call a "hamburger". I personally don't care for them, so it may go away eventually. Here's what I do: When I log in, I click on the checkbox for "remember me&quo...

Re: a Semi Annual Retreat?

Last year, 180GO! had a fest every weekend in April and May except for the first weekend of April. But early April can be dicey for weather.

Re: I KNOW--the forum has changed!

Thank you very much for the feedback.
I'm glad the RSS is still working.

It seems Forum Runner isn't yet supporting this version, so we may switch to Tapatalk.

Re: a Semi Annual Retreat?

If enough folks want to do it again, we can do another retreat in April or May.
We'll just have to look at the kite festival calendar and pick a date.

I KNOW--the forum has changed!

Yes, the forum is a bit weird looking. I had to update the forum software and move it to a new server. It will take me a while to get back what we had before because I did a lot of hand work to the old version. Maybe not all of it will come back. Certainly it will get more red :) Post here what you'...

If no one here wants the dual line stacks, talk to Mike MacDonald. He often flys classic stacks at Kite Party.

yup, it can pull hard. But if you're using handles you can always let go if you get lofted.
Now you need a buggy :)

Looking forward to the video...

Re: What's OK to carry on airplane?

I've traveled with carryon kites quite a few times. 1. No problems with metal handles. 2. I've never tried. If they noticed them, I expect they would confiscate them. 3. I have carried small fiberglass shafted ground stakes, but they didn't see them. I have carried on an oversized aluminum drinking ...

Re: Quad Line Length

Am new. Just got a Rev kite and have a 75 foot line set and a 120 foot line set. Glad I got the 75 foot line. Have not used the 120 foot line. Would recomment getting 75 - 80 foot line to learn on. Very responsive and for me when learning responsiveness is everything. Also the "walk of shame&q...
