How you hold an...

Re: How do you wind your lines?

Mark, why do you straight wind in the middle of your routine? Straight winding is faster for me, but the loops come loose on the winder, so I throw in a few figure-eight windings in the middle and at the end to hold things together. I also don't like the thickness of completely figure-eight winding.

Re: How do you wind your lines?

Single winder, from kite to handles, winder held in right hand, using left hand to wind, attach top loops to bottoms at kite end, opposite at handles (if I remove the handles), loops on top with winder bungee knot facing up and right, winding over the winder start three or four windings figure-eight...

Be aware of possible copyright infringement. The design would have to be recognizable, yet generic enough to avoid possible lawsuits.

Has the max photo file size increased? I really dislike resizing photos before I can post as an attachment.

Re: I KNOW--the forum has changed!

There was an "Unread" button before. Will that be back again? I may be blind or just haven't found it yet. I did "mark all as read". Perhaps it will pop up when someone posts anew.

Glad you guys got to fly and maybe even got the kite issue straightened out with the Park District personnel. Sorry about my post; I could have been more specific about what had happened. Just needed to rant, I guess. So, is it now ok to fly at East Side? I flew today with Karl (Kitemeister) at Buss...

Re: Aug 22 or 23 quick fly

And just to add more fuel to the fire, shouldn't they have a copy of the regulations with them? So, we could have said "show me where it says that!"
