Re: 120' lines
They also make it easier to hold a position in the sky. The lines are so stretchy they absorb a lot of the gusts. Fly the 75' lines for speed and snappy moves, the 120' for slower more precise looking moves. I noticed this today at lunch time... I was able to do quite a few things I've been having ...

I played briefly with a set of 25' lines and they were just too short for my tastes... Looking for the balance between usability and clubbing myself over the head wit...

Re: 120' lines
finally got my 120' line together... ended up having to go out to my field to finish them up as I just don't have any room here at the house (inside or out) to lay them out. The yellow neon sleeving that Dave sent me looks very pretty.... We had enough wind to fly my vented today so I put it u...

Re: IKE Logo Kite. Don't make it this way...
First of all, bad ass kite Mike!!!! Is the logo all applique? What about converting it to a delta? Use a light color (white,or lt blue), and just add triangles to either side. I dunno, sounds easy enough? Please share with us how you made up the sail with our logo on it... This could open up a...

Chris aka "Babbman"
Ok, I'll get this topic started.... My name is Chris Babb and around here, I am known as Babbman. I'm 44, married to Jenny and have a 4 year old named Elie. I came into kiting in the early 70's with the infamous 'Bat Kite', all duded up with bloodshot eyes and about 1000' of string. Then no kites fo...

Hector, Welcome!
I'm happy to see yet another 'doer' here and happy to meet yet another flier.
God willing, we will all be able to get together somewhere where the wind blows at a very clean and steady 10mph...
Absolutely LOVE the spider kite... Love it...
