Re: Now I Need To BUY One!!

If I were to start over buying revs, I would save the extra money and buy a B-series standard sail first. You would get Two frames (2 wrap and 3 wrap) And most places sell it as a complete set up or kite only. It would allow you to fly in a wide range of wind. 3-20 or so depending on who you ask. Yo...

Jynx--
Almost three hours for 150 miles. You just need a faster car! :-) Or you could always request the IKE Lear Jet. If I had a bigger place I would offer you a Place to stay.

Re: Where Did The Wind Go?

In my Younger days I thought face plants and power kites went hand in hand. :-D There is a couple funny videos of New Power kiters figuring that out the hard way on youtube. Also a scary one of a fellow who thought it would be a good idea to go kite boarding with an incoming hurricane in Florida. Th...

Re: New Member From Kankakee

Makes sense. When I first met alot of you at perry farm I thought it was strange That there was 5 or 6 people named IKE. And all of you were so proud of it you put it in huge letters on your shirts. Then after calling someone IKE they cleared it up for me. :-D

Re: New Member From Kankakee

Limestone Does have portapotties (SP?) And they are usually kept pretty clean. It also has a Wendy's, Boz hot dogs (great Italian beef) and a great Chinese resturant with a buffett. All up the street on Rt 17. As you can see on the map there are a few small trees around the perimeter and a single go...

Hello, I have been wanting to try my hand in the kitemaking bit of this hobby, but really have no knowledge about it other than how to use a sewing machine. And the wealth of info I have sorted through on the old interwebs. The idea  I cant seem to get out of my head is a sail for my 1.5 rev. ...
