(actually had a speed trial last week and added a little reinforcing to the leading edge) this sail is from the JuneBug plans but I sized it to fit the same size spars as a rev OK, so you made the kite larger than the original? I had read that it was hardly flyabl...

what did you use for the leader?? I have 100# bridle line doubled but it seems thinner than other handles... I know it is strong enough, just thinking it may be esier to loosen the larks head and not wear as quickly?? My handles are ?? 1/2 or 3/8 inch aluminum tube, I marked and drilled them at the ...

I am still very new to quads so I am not a great judge of flyability... that said I think this sail is slower and a little top heavier thn the quads I have flown... my early flight was in good wind and it flew ok.....

I was at the mall and had a crazy thought to bring a white sail into the airbrush dude and have him paint my image on it... stenciling is a very good idea as well... kites as art... I like what I see on the rev site but...

Re: Quick Fly - Sunday Aug. 2 - Northern Suburbs?

Ah yes...such a fun decision. I notice that you remark, which to get first . :-D On thing you can do is take note of what kind of winds you see most days, now that you're a little more familiar with what it takes to fly each one. Still, I think the standard sail is probably the best first kite from...
