Re: Anyone Find An Extra Set Of 4 Wrap Spars In Their Bag?

To be honest there was a lot going on and I was so overwhelmed at all the flying, not to mention people handing me kites to fly right and left I don't remember specifics. Just in case I walked the field today the areas we flew in, parked in, and also passed through. Unfortuntaley I did not find any ...

Re: Kite Flying For Dummies... The Backspin And The Barrel R

That is really cool, I saw a two line kite video and I thought it was a video edit, I didn't realize you could really roll them all around .... I may have to pay closer attention the next time I see a two liner flying.

I think that is tantamount to cheating. You have to ask yourself if it is worth it, your revs won't ever treat you the same again.

Awesome design, I like the tribal look. I like Mike K. he always ignores the childish behavior on the forums and brings the kids back in line by asking meaningful questions. Anyway, Pink is kewl, but Razzle-Dazzle-Berry rocks!!

Thanks for posting the pics Mike. The skull looks awesome, I think it is even a girl skull, the Rev as a hair bow gives it away. Very cool.

Again thanks for your hospitality.

Jim -

The reinforcement patches go on the back of the sail, the part you don't see from the ground. I hope that answers your question.

Mike K. thank you for putting on the training and ordering all the material. Also, thank you for babysitting the hooligans and not kicking Jeepster out. Anne thank you for all the food and letting us use your shop. Mike S., I'm not really sure what your part was but I'm confident you deserve a thank...

Re: Kite Projects - This Winter---Rok Building Class

Mike - What about us poor folk who don't have a fancy GPS that you put an address in? I can only use coordinates, no map overlay either, I like to roll old school. I need to guess which road to turn on, sometimes I've even found myself driving through fields because the little arrow pointed that way.

I was leaning towards orange or teal ..... although just to make the old man proud I may just go rasberry.

Mike -

I believe my dad already mentioned I will be headed up also. What colors, if any, are still available? Jeepster said he signed up for three, however my moto is "trust but verify".

Re: Polar Bear Kite Club?

Mike maybe you could email Ben and score a couple of Pro Series, a STD, Mid-Vent and VTD and we could all try one in the cold. You know quality control for Rev. THink he would be up for it? SHould probably try lots of different line sets and maybe one of their bags too.
