Re: Smurf Sized Stakes...

The question is: can you get the arrow shafts in red? :-) I guess I can put the red wooden balls on, but they would kind of clash with the blue stakes... My oldest shafts (~25 years old) are a dark green color. My newer shafts (still about 15 years old) are a shade of orange. Most of the shafts I'v...

A 4 hour drive will keep me home on this one! Sorry! If the weather was a bit more predictable and a whole lot warmer I'd be there for sure! Until next time... Have fun and fly one for me! :revspin: Jynx

Re: 2009 Treasure Island Kite Festival January 17-18

Re: How To Wind Up Your Rev's Lines

:thanks: Good reading and perfectly clear... I truly appreciate all the info! I have made copies and will try it the next time out. Like maybe April or May! That's why I made copies, by then I won't know what a kite is! Sorry for repeating but... I HATE WINTER! Not really... I just hate the snow and...

Re: How To Wind Up Your Rev's Lines

In Kitelife, the online kiting magazine, David Hathaway wrote a nice article on how to wind up those quad lines. Method 3, "The Monkey Road", is also the way iQuad does it. Click to read the article. Mike- This entry is a little moldy.. and the link no longer opens. I think this would be ...

Re: First Ever (and Hopefully Annual) Revolution Calendar

Yes Tom your guess is correct. The weave kite is Ben's. Also Lynn did do two weave kites this year. She is a great sewer. If you make it out to KP7 next year Jynx you will more then likely be able to see all three up close and personnel. I also had a chance to fly Ben's kite, very soft feel in high...

Congrats you lucky devil! (Early Santa wishes came true for you!)
So happy it went to someone just a hop, skip, and galendasprung from Wisconsin. Even if I'll never see it in my bag, someday I might see it in my sky!
