Re: Kite Stakes For Beer Drinkers

Tell me, do these stakes qualify as "dry" humor?

At the very least, it's a terrible diversion from their main responsibility.

Cheers,
Tom

Old REV Booklet

I keep losing the link to this book. Thought I'd post it here so I could find it and so others could be made aware of it.

Cheers,
Tom

Actually, she looks like she has my low wind technique down pat ... when the wind is low, so is my kite. How old is Susan ... I ask because I'd like to get my grandson interested. At four years old, he simply doesn't have the attention span yet. Cheers, Tom I don't think Susan wants me to say. ;) B...

Re: New Quad

While I was out of town for the week, my daughter decided to make a quad line kite to fly. Susan got a picture of her trying to take it out and fly. I think it needs a few design adjustments, but she's off to a good start. :-) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v650/hefe88/Kiting/KaylasQuad.jpg Actu...

Re: Embroidery

Are you saying that it takes a home embroidery machine 1 hour to sew one IKE logo? Yep! 20,000+ stitches at 350 stitches per hour is 57 minutes. Plus, the sewing machine has some slow time. Plus, thread changes. A little more thrilling than watching grass grow, but not something you'd want to do re...

A friend of mine was kind enough to turn the IKE shirt emblem into a digitized embroidery file. It's in the .pes format which is necessary for my wife's Brother sewing/embroidery machine. The file has a few idiosycracies, so I'd rather not place it in the download section. Like the shirt front emble...

Lets get a new head count started to see who all can make it. I am in, how many 180Go! team members can make it. (your welcome Draftnik ) Ken, If it's a head count for all IKE members, I'll be missing. Sorry, will be in the UP that weekend. If it's a head count for 180GO! members, I'll still be mis...

Re: 2ND ANNUAL KITE FEST

i think it is down by the river Shawn, Yes, it is down by the river. Beiderbeck Dr doesn't have a street number where the flying field is located, thus your GPS or Map Quest won't work for that stretch of road. But, if you use 300 S Marquette that will take you to the south-east corner of the field...
