Re: Craft Project

The whole thing only took me a few days. The lettering is stitched back over after you're done knitting, which works much better than working it into the pattern. Pretty easy, and I think pretty effective.

Craft Project

So, kite flying during the winter it's way too cold for just the 180go baseball cap. Fortunately, this is a problem I can solve: http://www.ikeclub.org/Forums/posted_images/user_11_img_6297e.jpg http://www.ikeclub.org/Forums/posted_images/user_11_img_6296e.jpg If I ever have a lot of free time or a ...

Hecks yeah I'll be there!
I'm trapped at Grinnell College for all the festivals until then, but this one comes to me! And if any kite flyers want to stick around for the following week and take my final exams for me...

Put another one down for music! At school I'm in every singing group I can get my hands on, and in Spain last semester a friend and I would play music (him on guitar, me singing) in the park on weekends and try and get people to throw us their spare change. It's quite an experience! Love to sing, th...

Re: "10114 Unread Posts"!?!

Here we are...about two blocks from my apartment in Madrid. It was mostly single lines and decorative stuff, a few dualies, and one rev EXP gathering dust on the back shelf. Nice to see a little something familiar in a strange land though! The sign says "La Tienda de las Cometas," or "...

Ok, New Year's resolution: be better IKE member! :-D For those of you who don't know me, I'm Rose (Hi! Hola!), been flying revs for an embarrassingly long time considering my current skill level. Basically, since Dad (that's Mike Kory to the rest of you) brought home our first rev when I was 7 or 8....

If you think unicycle-kiting would be hard, try unicycle dancing  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xuUzuklkoU&mode=related&search= That's absolutely amazing! There really should be more people in the audience on that video, that girl needs more appreciation, cause she has *skills*.

well, my significant other is very supportive. He couldn't understand why I was so excited about kites until I had him try flying one, and now he's hooked.
