Re: Very Sad News: David Kovacs

I'm so deeply saddened to hear this. I can't imagine what his family is going through as I can't wrap my brain around it.
We had so many laughs on the kite field. The Go Riders routine in T. I. was a very special time for all four of us.
He will be sorely missed.

Re: Zen

Hi Guys....
There is a difference between the Rev 1 and the Zen. The Zen's center is deeper, more in the ratio of a 1.5. The Rev 1 is very narrow at the center (inverted "V"). I have found that it is easily bowtied because of it. The Zen is much more stable...IMHO.

Re: Zen

Hi swannie. ... I have a Zen. They load up a lot more than a 1.5 in light winds, as there is a lot more sail area to "grab" the wind. It flies slower than the 1.5 and the turning is a bit slower, too. Generally speaking, you fly it just like the 1.5. You still need to know light wind techn...

Re: IKE Road Trip To Wildwood, NJ?

Hi Guys- Wildwood is a great time. Tons to do and see; including AKA sanctioned competition- if you're so inclined. I hear there are going to be "special/different things" this year (I have no idea). For the banquet dinner, there's usually a theme for dressing. I believe last year was supe...

Re: KAP - Getting Started, Suggestions?

Hi Mike- How have you been? I would love to see the popsicle stick version, too. But, be careful or not quite as determined as I was. I got a Brooxe's rig at Nationals... it's great. I do recommend the servo that lets you change the intervals between exposures. Back to the issue.... I was determined...

Re: Hello From The Jersey Shore

Hello everyone- Thanks for the warm welcome. I have mention to a few friends about joining IKE. Their first response was "but it's all the way out there". I told them about the fact that some of the same crew from the Rev Forum are members and they don't all live locally. It got them think...

Hello From The Jersey Shore

Hello and Happy New Year. My name is Laura, some of you probably know me from the Rev Forum. I've been flying Revs since the end of March 08 and I am soooo hooked! I can't get enough flying .... ever. I had flown SLK's since I'm a kid (a few years back  ) and got more serious with them about f...
